LAB color space components normalization

Please help me...I want to Normalize L*A*B color space components...any one guide ne how, i can normalize them..

Why? What are you going to do? What values do you want to normalize them to? Why do you think it's necessary? It may not be.
I do color image analysis all the time (it's my day job) and I never normalize them so why do you? I calibrate RGB to LAB (something that MATLAB does not do with any built-in functions) but I don't normalize anything.
