What is the proper way to define port dimensions in SIMULINK?
I used to define them as:
Port dimensions (-1 for inherited):
  • 4
But then I see that some people use:
  • [4x1]
The default in SIMULINK is vector, so when you connect an output of the form [4x1] with an input of 4, there is no error, but SIMULINK clearly shows a diference on the signal names, it recognizes one is [4x1] and the other 4. Is there any difference between the two methods, anything I should worry about?
