I am having problems with the new-line spacing of the string in my textbox (that is in a panel, in a figure)
The string is set to be a fileread() with a textfile.
It seems to visually add a new line even when it isn't indicated in the string. Here's a snippet:
if I accessed the string of my textbox
the output is a char array (numbered it so it's easier to convey) and looks something like this:
'----- 1The Data Structure← '
'2Calling the class handle will reveal properties:← '
'3-info← '
'4The 'info structure' provides information regarding the ← '
'5← '
'6-solutions← '
'7When a solution is generated, the 'info' property that was associated with the solution is stored in a cell array.← '
'8-PosteriorCurrents← '
'9Table of posterior currents corresponding to each solution generated.← '
'10-SG_flux← '
'11Table of flux profiles associated with Speedgoat← '
'12-I_inversion_err← '
'13average error for the currents from the algorithm.← '
it makes sense for there to be a space between line 4 and 6, because I did include a new line operator in my text file. But I don't understand where the space between lines 7 / 8 and 9/10 came from.
if it matters, the textbox was created with uicontrol.
