Automatic extraction of region of interest from a binary image

i have a binary image and i need to extraxt the "A" structure. but the priblem is the position of "A" keeps changing from one image to another. so cannot provide coordinates manually.
is there any automatic way to do it?

you must have seen theimage binary image, in that we have an "A" structure . i just want to extract that portion.
