Hello.
i,m a new Matlab user and trying to find the closest value to Z in my matrix (se the table blow )and got many problem.
tried to find out a value at the time with
"y_lookup = interpl (X,Y,-----)" but the result was not right one.
Can someone explain the goodway to findout / generate NaN value in my matrix?
and how to interpolate it and replace the NaN?
X=[ -1 : 0.1 : 1]
Y= [-1 : 0.1 : 1 ]
Z = [ 17.46 12.62 12.01 11.68 6.39 13.09 2.64 1.15 NaN NaN NaN NaN NaN NaN -1.3 NaN -6.9 NaN 0.9 -0-6]
Thanks

How does this Z vector correspond to you X and Y? Usually, this would mean you have a surface, with a Z value for each combination of X and Y, which would mean 100 points, not 20.

Yes, thats right . Z value becomes a combination of x and y which going to be the 100 different value .
