Hi All, I have a question:
I'm trying to calculate the probability of a categorical event over time, specifically, per trial num an animal made either correct (1), incorrect (2), premature (3) or omission (4) response (i.e, 1, 2, 3, 4). Thus I can have a matrix of e.g. X = [1 2 3 1 2 4 4 3 2] OR another way of formatting this is corr= [1 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0] , incorr = [0 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 1] prem= [0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 0], omiss =[0 0 0 0 0 1 1 0 0]. I would like to know what the probability of each even is over time, comapred to the other categories, basically what is the probability of making a correct response compared to the probability of making e.g. an omission (reference category) over time?
Hope someone can help!
Chiara
