Generating Signals for NI 9472 Digital Module

Hey guys,

for my Bachelor Thesis I need to connect a National Instruments 9472 Digital Module with an engine, so the NI Card will give the signal to either enfasten or slow down (1 signal for 1st speed, 2nd signal for 2nd speed, both signals for 3rd speed) or to stop the engine by giving 3rd signal.

For me it is only important how to generate digital signals with Matlab and NI Cards, unfortunately I have no idea how this works. In the internet I didn't find the commands, since I don't even know, how to setup the NI Cards. I already have worked with AnalogInputs, everything is fine there, I just don't know how to give Signals to the Channels of the NI Cards, which should tell them to give Signals to the engine.

I'd be glad, if you can help me finding the proper commands for Matlab or at least ideas, how I can fix my problem.
