Variable names reserved for use in uninstalled&irrelevant toolboxes

I use the variable name 'score' quite often in my code. Now in my new Matlab 2016b installation, I see that Matlab takes exception to its use because of this variable name apparently being reserved in one of the toolboxes, that I don't have installed:

To use 'score', the following product must be both licensed and installed:
  Financial Toolbox

Any way I can "unreserve" this variable name (and others), at least for toolboxes I know I will not use?
