how to plot heat map coordinates density?

I have a 1512*1 struct data which contains the coordinates of 1512 points. I want to plot the distribution density heat map according to this coordinates(i.e. the region contain more points will displayed with warmer colour, less points with cooler colour). The coordinates are botain with
s = regionprops(BWbi, 'Centroid');
and I want to plot the heat map overlay on image call 'patch'

Try scatteredInterpolant().
