Hi everybody,
I have a trouble with hydraulic lift model. I try to explain briefly what the question is. For instance, there is a rack and pinion system and this system creates a force applied to piston. There is also another piston that helps to lift 50 kg mass by the effect of first piston movement. It is a basic hydraulic system actually. I firstly obtain torque from dc motor and convert it into force by rack and pinion model. Now, I had translation force that can be applied to piston. I used translational electromechanical converter and convert force to pressure. The problem has started after then. How to set relation between first piston and second? how to provide transmission. If I modeled the transmission, then the process will be easier. I will find the pressure occurred in piston two. Then convert into force by translational electromechanical converter. Finally, It will be applied to the lifting mass. I need to model two piston transmission. Could anyone have a knowledge on it? any effort will be appreciated. Thank you

If you have a problem, then show what you have done. Otherwise you force anyone who would help to do your homework from scratch, and that is not the goal of Answers. Make it easy for someone to help you. That way you are more likely to get help.

Without your model, it is difficult to provide a specific answer. I believe you need to look at product of the ratios for all components that convert energy (rotational <-> translational <-> pressure <-> electrical ...).
