Greetings,
I was wondering if its possible to input the velocity in x and y directions simultaneously, in simscape or in and simulink applications. So far I can only see the one direction on plus and minus sides on the ideal translational velocity. Perhaps there could be a different input method for the time history type velocity data.
Thanks,
H

The Ideal Translational Velocity Source and other Simscape blocks in the Foundation Library are for one dimensional systems. If you want to model a two-dimensional system, you should use Simscape Multibody. The Rectangular Joint allows you to specify motion along two perpendicular axes.
