d0=0.3; b0=0.5; L=0.5; M=1; N=(1.5*10^-5);
plot(N*(b0*(1*exp(N/L)))-(d0*(1+N/M)))

You're just plotting a single number, not a series of numbers. What variable do you want to vary along the "x" axis?
