Matlab R2024b is installed, however it does not appear in either "Programs and features" of the control panel or in "Apps and features".

1) When I tried to install MATLAB R2024b, I received the message that it has been already installed.

2) I want to first uninstall it.

3) I do not find MATLAB in "Programs and features" of the control panel of Windows 10.

4) I do not find MATLAB in "Apps and features"

5) I do not find MATLAB in the Start menu.

Search for "matlab.exe" with Explorer -- if the program itself is still installed, that will find the root location. If the files are still there, the uninstaller is in the Win64 folder; you can forecfully run it directly.

Report back; next steps would depend on what found...

ADDENDUM

If, indeed, the executable is there, you could always try to run it and presuming you do have a license and it can be found, it should run. If that succeeds, you can always just create the shortcuts on the desktop or in the Start folder.

hmm did you get any errors in the end of the installation? Usually there is if this is the case because it looks like the post installation tasks failed. But Windows comes with different setups so I would not be surprised if there was no error.

Try this article and run the registerWithOS (not registerWithML), it requires admin permissions, this will try to init the shortcuts/links/paths and stuff. The cursor should just appear loading for a few seconds and back to the pointer, after that relaunch MATLAB.

also, you might want to download a new installer (if you plan to re-use) because I believe older installers had this issue.
