When I start Matlab 2015a on my Windows 8.1 an error message informs "Failed to load nativejmi: unsatisfied link". Then a second error message appears. A Fatal Error on Startup:
Java exeption occurred:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError:
com.mathworks.jmi.NativeMatlab.SendMatlabMessage(Ljava/lang/Object;)Ljava/lang/Object;
at
etc....
It never happens, my Matlab was working some hours before.
I also tried to unistall java 7 (I'have Java 8 installed) but nothing happens.
Can you please help me?

Hi !
Just got the same error and could fix it. I'm on Windows 7, using Matlab 2015a, it worked yesterday, but today, after updating Adobe Flash Player and ran some Windows updates, I had the same error... I don't know if it's linked to any of the updates, but I found that my antivirus, Avast, put the nativejmi.dll in quarantine and thus Matlab couldn't find it. Try to check your files blocked by your antivirus and if you find nativejmi.dll scan it and restore it.
Hope it helps,
Best,
Francois

I had the same problem and that fixed it for me. Avast had grabbed quite a few other MATLAB files as well that I had to restore. But it works great now. Thanks for the suggestion!
