Whats the best way to organize my MATLAB folders, my developed applications from the MATLAB system, so that updating MATLAB won't cause a problem with restarting my applications?

MATLAB's default folder is always good that does not get affected with new updates of MATLAB. Moreover, matlab's default folder is always directly accessiable by MATLAB with all new installations and updates by default. No need to make it accessable path.

To ease accessabiluty of one's developed scripts and models, he/she can put them in seperate directory/ies and make it accessible path by via addpath('...\...') command or using GUI tools of MATLAB.
