How can I get precipitation data only for summer (June~August for 30 years)?

I have a daily precipitation data for 30 years. Then how can I get precipitation only for summer (June~August for 30 years)?

but instead of == 6 you would ismember() against the month numbers you want.

dbp's solution there already includes month number in the data and asks to group by month, whereas my solution there would need a small enhancement to group by month, as it assumes exactly one month in its present form.

ismember(t.Month, {'June', 'July', 'August'})

include September if appropriate for your area (where I live, September might be technically summer, but it would be common for there to be a frost by the end.)
