Good afternoon,
I have a 2D matrix "A" that represents a 120x120 cm and I need to generate a nice heatmap that represents the number of events that happen around each coordinate. My data points are 8000. I keep obtaining very pixelated images
While I need something like this
I was told that with Interpolation I could have that nice continuity effect, but I only obtain the exact same image but at higher resolution. If you could help me, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you!

fun = @(x) median(x(:));
A=nlfilter(A,[3 3],fun);%applies median filter in sliding 3x3 block

Thank you! it worked perfectly in combination with interpolation!
