Why does the scale of buildings change when exporting from RoadRunner to Unreal Engine?

1 回表示 (過去 30 日間)
When I export a building from RoadRunner to UnrealEngine, its scale somehow changes.
For example, a building which scale is x=1,y=3,z=2 in RoadRunner is distorted in UnrealEngine as shown in the  screenshot below.
If the scales x,y,z are equal, this phenomenon doesn't happen.
How can I avoid this issue?

Unreal Engine 4 does not handle rotation and scaling very well.
A workaround is to freeze the transforms in something like Maya before importing into RoadRunner.
