comm.SDRDevE310

(To be removed) Interface with USRP® E310 or USRP® E312 radio hardware

The comm.SDRDevE310 radio object will be removed in a future release. Use the comm.SDRDevE3xx radio object instead. For more information, see Compatibility Considerations.

Description

Create a comm.SDRDevE310 radio object to interface with either USRP®[1] E310 or USRP® E312 radio hardware. With this object, you can configure the radio hardware and the host computer for proper communication.

Creation

To create a comm.SDRDevE310 radio object, use the sdrdev function with argument 'E310'.

dev = sdrdev('E310')

The created object can interface with either USRP® E310 or USRP® E312 radio hardware. The syntax dev = sdrdev('E312') is invalid.

Properties

expand all

Name of USRP® embedded series radio hardware, specified as 'E310'. This return value applies to both USRP® E310 and USRP® E312 radio hardware.

IP address of the radio hardware, specified as a dotted-quad character vector. This value must match the physical IP address of the radio hardware assigned during hardware setup. For more information, see Guided Host-Radio Hardware Setup. If you configure the radio hardware with an IP address other than the default, update the IPAddress accordingly.

For example:

dev = sdrdev('E310');
dev.IPAddress = '192.168.30.2';

SDR device: comm.SDRDevE310

   Properties:
     IPAddress: '192.168.3.2'
    DeviceName: 'E310'

You can use the dev radio object to interface with either USRP® E310 or USRP® E312 radio hardware.
