Generate Code and Deploy the Model to the Hardware

Step 7 of 7 in Create a Digital Write Block

1. In the Simulink^® Editor, select Simulation > Model Configuration Parameters.

2. In the Configuration Parameters dialog box, on the Hardware Implementation pane, set Hardware board to match your hardware board.

3. In the model toolbar, change the Simulation mode to External.

4. Click Run to build and run the model containing your System object™ on the hardware board.

While the model runs on the hardware, the LED blinks on and off in 1 second intervals.
