Contact MathWorks and Use the webcamSupport Function

Before contacting MathWorks, run the webcamSupport function. This function returns following diagnostic information:

  • Name of all the connected Webcams

  • Available properties in each webcam

  • Installed Support Packages

  • MATLAB version and Toolboxes Installed

The output from webcamSupport is automatically saved to a log file, webcamSupport.log, which you can use to help troubleshoot your problem.

Note

The webcamSupport function will access all the webcams connected to your system and create webcam objects for each of them.
