Use custom startup

Option to execute custom initialization code when the microcontroller boots up

Since R2026a

Model Configuration Pane: Hardware Implementation / Simulink or Embedded Coder Hardware Support Package / Hardware board settings / Target hardware resources / Startup options

Description

Select this option if you have your own custom startup code, which you can specify in the Startup code location parameter. If you do not select this option, based on the device you have selected, a default startup code is used.

Dependencies

For Infineon AURIX TC4x microcontrollers, enable this parameter by setting the Processing unit parameter to TriCore0, TriCore1, TriCore2, TriCore3, TriCore4, or TriCore5.

Settings

off (default) | on

If you enable this parameter, Simulink® rebuilds the Infineon® low-level drivers (iLLD) without the default startup files.
