System object: dsp.ParametricEQFilter
Filter input with
dsp.ParametricEQFilter object will be
removed in a future release. Existing instances of the object continue to run. For
new code, use the
from Audio Toolbox™ instead.
Y = step(H, X)
Starting in R2016b, instead of using the
method to perform the operation defined by the System
object™, you can call the object with arguments, as if it were a function. For
y = step(obj,x) and
y = obj(x)
perform equivalent operations.
Y = step(H, X) filters the real or complex input signal
X using the specified filter to produce the equalized filter
Y. The filter processes each channel of the input signal (each
X) independently over time.
obj specifies the System
which to run this
The object performs an initialization the first time the
is executed. This initialization locks nontunable
properties (MATLAB) and input specifications, such as dimensions, complexity,
and data type of the input data. If you change a nontunable property
or an input specification, the System
object issues an error.
To change nontunable properties or inputs, you must first call the
to unlock the object.
