The User Community Manager is responsible for planning and executing community programs that drive customer engagement, knowledge sharing, and business impact. This role focuses on developing and managing user communities, including JMAAB (Japan MBD Automotive Advisory Board), and supporting broader community initiatives across industries.
This is an individual contributor role within the Marketing Programs team, requiring strong program management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.

Plan and execute community programs aligned with marketing and business objectives

Manage end-to-end program delivery, including scheduling, logistics, stakeholder coordination, and follow-up

Build and maintain relationships with community members, including customers, partners, and industry stakeholders

Serve as the primary point of contact for community activities and communications

Design and deliver engagement initiatives such as advisory boards, user groups, and community events (virtual, hybrid, in-person)

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to develop and deliver community content and campaigns

Support event planning and execution, including agenda development, speaker coordination, and on-site operations

Develop and maintain communication channels (email, portals, social, and community platforms)

Create and manage community-focused content, including newsletters, case studies, and announcements

Collect and synthesize customer feedback and share insights with internal stakeholders

Track program performance using defined KPIs and report results to management

Identify opportunities to improve engagement, program effectiveness, and operational efficiency

Support alignment with global community and marketing initiatives
必須の資格
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in program management, marketing, community management, or a related field
- Strong program management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
- Experience planning and executing events (in-person and virtual)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
- Ability to synthesize discussions, meetings, and stakeholder inputs into structured summaries and externally consumable content
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience in Automotive industry (OEM, Tier1, or mobility ecosystem)
- Background in technology, engineering software, or IT-related fields
- Experience managing user communities, advisory boards, or professional networks
- Experience in B2B marketing or customer engagement programs
- Experience developing case studies, industry insights, or thought leadership content based on community discussions, events, or customer engagements
- Experience creating industry-facing content for initiatives such as user conferences, advisory boards, or executive forums (e.g., EXPO, JMAAB, or similar programs)
- Experience using generative AI tools to efficiently transform discussions, meeting notes, or event outputs into structured reports, case studies, and publishable content
- Ability to translate complex technical and industry discussions into clear, compelling narratives tailored for external audiences
