Senior Technical Consultant (MBSE)

We are seeking an engineer passionate about driving Model-Based Systems Engineering using MATLAB and associated tools to join our Consulting Services team. In this role, you will lead our customers to establish effective system development workflows.

The location for this position is MathWorks’ office in Tokyo.

仕事内容

Take on leadership roles in technically challenging project as an expert for our customers

  • Consulting lead development - Gather customer technical and business requirements and estimate project costs to create consulting service proposals.
  • Consulting project management and execution -
    • Apply MathWorks software tools to assist clients projects.
    • Interface MathWorks tools with third-party tools and software
    • Plan and manage resources to execute projects efficiently.
    • Travel as required.
  • Consulting sales - Interact with MathWorks sales staff and customers to identify, develop and close high-impact consulting opportunities.
  • Consulting strategy - Working closely with world wide consulting organization,  setting and evolving service support strategy in one or more industry/application areas.
  • Product development support - Work with product development staff to resolve product issues.

必須の資格

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

その他の資格

  • Solid engineering skills in requirements definition, architecture modeling, and verification processes
  • Solid working knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Solid programming skill for MATLAB
  • Experience using Simulink or System Composer
  • Effective communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects with ability to multi-tasks

Nice to have

  • Experience with a broad set of MathWorks products 
  • Experience with SysML/UML and USDM
  • Experience with third party products (Cameo, Capella, Enterprise Architect, etc.)
  • Experience with Automotive SPICE
  • Experience with Model-Based Design
  • Experience integrating with PLM and ALM systems
  • Domain knowledge in Automotive, Aerospace and Defense
