Senior Technical Consultant - Data Analytics

MathWorks is the world leader in technical computing, system simulation and embedded code generation tools. We are seeking an engineer with a passion for Data Analytics, especially for Deep Learning and Computer Vision to join our Consulting Services team. In this role you will lead our customers use MATLAB and associated tools to analyze their data, create and evaluate Deep Learning model and/or Computer Vision algorithms, and build/deploy GUI applications. Application focus areas include visual inspection, object detection/classification and image processing – for wide range of industries, such as manufacturing, automotive, medical and pharmaceuticals. Project work may also involve machine learning and signal processing. The location for this position is in MathWorks’ office in Tokyo or Nagoya.

仕事内容

By collaborating with the colleagues and customers to deliver technically challenging project

  • Lead customers in a variety of engineering disciplines by utilizing wide range of your technical expertise and application of MATLAB
  • Planning and organizing the resources to successfuly complete projects
  • Interact directly with MATLAB development team to resolve tough customer issues and identify new product features
  • Opportunities to work with customers closely

必須の資格

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in Japan.

その他の資格

  • Industry experience in areas such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, algorithm design and application deployment.
  • Strong programming skill for above technical areas, such as MATLAB and/or Python
  • Strong communication skill
  • Japanese and English communication skill

Nice to have:

  • Industory experience in areas such as server system construction and web application deployment
  • Experience with a broad set of MathWorks products
  • Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning
