As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a key and valued role in ensuring our customers' success with MATLAB and the suite of MathWorks products. Your responsibilities will include resolving customer-reported issues across a wide range of products, applications, and industries. You will provide essential technical support primarily to customers who utilize MATLAB/Simulink as a platform for the Model-Based Design (MBD) process in cutting-edge product development.
Additionally, by offering insightful feedback to our development team, you will significantly contribute to the continuous improvement of our product lines. The feedback you provide will be invaluable in understanding and addressing the needs of our customers.

仕事内容
You will provide technical support services to customers involved in model-based development using MathWorks products. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing solutions to resolve customer issues by leveraging MATLAB/Simulink as the standard tool for control system design

Demonstrating detailed usage for control system design applications using basic examples, when necessary

Resolving complex problems, such as those arising from the technical operation of multiple products, during the practical stage of the Model-Based Design (MBD) process

Contributing to the resolution of customer issues by understanding their advanced research and development needs, and providing feedback to developers

Collaborating with appropriate departments when direct or simple solutions cannot be provided to customers

Creating articles (FAQs) to accumulate technical knowledge and provide a self-service answer system to customers
必須の資格
- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese required
- Strong commitment to learning and personal development
- English skills for reading documentations and writing emails
Pluses:
- Awareness of developing control design algorithms or embedded software
- Experience with 1D simulation
- Experience with rapid prototyping and SILS / HILS / PILS
- Experience with automatic code generation and validation & verification
- Knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink
- Knowledge of other MathWorks products
