As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a key and valued role in ensuring our customers' success with MATLAB and the suite of MathWorks products. Your responsibilities will include resolving customer-reported issues across a wide range of products, applications, and industries. You will provide essential technical support primarily to customers who utilize MATLAB/Simulink as a platform for the Model-Based Design(MBD) process in cutting edge product development. Additionally, by offering insightful feedback to our development team, you will significantly contribute to the continuous improvement of our product lines. The feedback you provide will be invaluable in understanding and addressing the needs of our customers. 仕事内容

You will provide technical support services to customers involved in embedded control system development using MathWorks products. Your responsibilities willinclude: 

  • Providing solutions to resolve customerissues by leveraging MATLAB / Simulink as the standard tool for embedded control system development 

  • Demonstrating detailed usage for embedded applications using basic examples, when necessary

  • Resolving complex problems, such as those caused by the technical operation of multiple products,during the practical stage of the Model-BasedDesign (MBD)process

  • Contributing to the resolution of customers issues by understanding their advanced research and development needs and providing feedback to developers

  • Collaborating with appropriate departmentswhen it becomes difficult to provide direct or simple solutions cannot be provided to customers 

  • Creating articles (FAQs) to accumulate technical knowledge and provide a self-service answer system to customers.

必須の資格

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese required

  • Awareness of developing control design algorithms or embedded software
  • Experience with automatic code generation and validation & verification
  • Knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink
  • Knowledge of other MathWorks products
