Written for graduate students and professionals, this book takes readers step by step through a series of MATLAB exercises that show how to measure and model linear dynamic systems in the presence of nonlinear distortions from a practical point of view. Each exercise is followed by a short discussion illustrating lessons that can be learned. Topics include aspects of system identification, analysis of the standard deviation, and model selection using the Akaike information criterion (AIC).
